So, um, spent the past two days listening to the One Piece Nico Nico Medley that feriowind so very kindly pointed me in the direction of. (for those of you not familiar, it is a fan recording - by impersonators of the seiyuu &hearts - of a bunch of songs with lyrics rewritten to tell the story of One Piece from the beginning to Enies Lobby)

And uh...I may have listened to the "Usopp leaves the crew" part...a bit more than strictly healthy. This plus talking to naye about that part in the story made me want to watch the anime of it.

um...oww

None of this was helped, of course, by the fact that I ficced it! >_<


So...feeling kind of...raw inside right now.

This was all resolved and fixed before I started reading the manga! It ends well! I know it ends well! It should NOT be having this effect on me! =_=;

...hello, my name is naye, and One Piece ate my soul in early 2004. I still haven't gotten it back. (Oh, Odacchi leased it out to some other guys for a while, but then he was all I think I'll break Luffy, and then Ace - wanna come check it out? aaaaaaaand. Thus ended my year+ of no One Piece at all.)

But! The good news is that he's more than halfway through now, so you should have your heart back any day now. Annny dayyy... XD

You should've seen me speed-read through the chapters starting in the middle of Thriller Bark and leading up to - oh, the first chapter with Ace in a dungeon or so?

It was. INTERESTING. Thriller Bark, being all "Oh, yeah, Oda is crazy, HAHAH" and then. Then Kuma showed up and "HOLY SHIT ZOROOOOOOOOOO SANJI ZOROOOOOOOOO" and then BROOK ;______; and then Duval BWAHAHA and then Shabaõdy and ODACCHI ARE YOU GOING DARK ON US AGAIN? and then yes, he was, and THEN there was Kuma AGAIN and Luffy BROKE and I was all O___o you broke Luffy and I couldn't have stopped reading if I wanted to.

And then Ace was in a dungeon and broken and I. Realized that I kind of loved him a LOT and that I loved Luffy wanting to rescue him and that I wanted to see their reunion NOW NOW NOW.

That was in December last year. XDDD

Ahh. One Piece does teach you about patience. ♥
