So, um, spent the past two days listening to the One Piece Nico Nico Medley that feriowind so very kindly pointed me in the direction of. (for those of you not familiar, it is a fan recording - by impersonators of the seiyuu &hearts - of a bunch of songs with lyrics rewritten to tell the story of One Piece from the beginning to Enies Lobby)

And uh...I may have listened to the "Usopp leaves the crew" part...a bit more than strictly healthy. This plus talking to naye about that part in the story made me want to watch the anime of it.

um...oww

None of this was helped, of course, by the fact that I ficced it! >_<


So...feeling kind of...raw inside right now.

This was all resolved and fixed before I started reading the manga! It ends well! I know it ends well! It should NOT be having this effect on me! =_=;

I knoooow! When Odacchi breaks your heart, he breaks it good. Can you imagine what it was like reading those chapters week by week not knowing if Luffy would ever smile again? owwww (Maybe you did? I don't know when you got into One Piece!)

But. Things turned out fine in the end, so... It's a temporary heartbreak! There's adorableness taking place after it! So don't be sad. *hugs*

Oh man, I'd love to be able to understand what the One Piece Nico Medley was singing about. ;__; I can only catch a few (very, very few!) words here and there.

This may be asking a rather lot, but could you, or anyone else really, provide translations? I'd probably love the song 10 billions times more if I knew what exactly they were singing.

both the anime and manga are able to shred my heart apart though from time to time.

And it doesn't matter how many times I have seen or read it before it happens time and time again.

I hope your heart will be fixed though. :) Normally oda's way of storytelling breaks your heart but fixes it as well.

YES~~ I listened to it like more than twenty times after hearing it~~ *much thanks to feriowind and her post about it~~ and \o/ I was listening to it probably like 3 am! Sanji!! XD

Yes! It is addicting and I especially like impersonator!Robin's long solo part~~ her voice is so cute~~<3

I'm happy I'm not the only one addicted because my brother's been nagging on me to stop playing it consecutively/repeatedly~~<3

...hello, my name is naye, and One Piece ate my soul in early 2004. I still haven't gotten it back. (Oh, Odacchi leased it out to some other guys for a while, but then he was all I think I'll break Luffy, and then Ace - wanna come check it out? aaaaaaaand. Thus ended my year+ of no One Piece at all.)

But! The good news is that he's more than halfway through now, so you should have your heart back any day now. Annny dayyy... XD
