The Monster's Sister

Luffy is almost as surprised to see Une in Alabasta as he is pleased to see her. His nakama are surprised to hear how strong she is, and it makes Luffy laugh.

“Yeah I always got my ass kicked! Dahahaha! But I could beat her now”

“Just who-” boottothehead “-can you beat?”

“Une!!” Luffy grins happily at his sister, who smiles back like they haven’t spent the past three years apart. He’s about to ask her what she’s doing here when something barrels into him and sends him flying.

“Mellorii~ine &hearts!”

Sanji receives his own boot to the head, courtesy of Nami, and Une laughs. Luffy join in because his sister in here, on his ship with his nakama and he’s never been happier.

“Ahahaha – thanks – haha – thank you all for looking after my little brother.”

Une leaves for her own adventures as quickly as she arrived, after asking Luffy’s crew to look after him – and of course they will, they’re nakama.

Luffy watches the fading Mera Mera flames with something like a sense of loss, but he brushes that aside. He’ll see Une again – they have a promise to meet at the top now – and in the meantime he has to help Vivi.

~~and Sanji's nose was never the same

Title comes from Usopp's comment that "the monster's brother is also a monster" after hearing that Ace always beat Luffy even before eating a Devil's Fruit

And now I am exorcising Une from my brain forever - Go. Away! I only have room for one child of Roger and Rouge in here, and Ace has already staked a claim. Go harass shayera or something.

That's right, Une!fic originated from this highly shroomed brain. actually, naye first suggested it, so it's her fault And...uh, there's another one here, in case you missed it ^^;

And well, the Une!fic was a good idea. I'm not into gender-changed character that much but this was different! It's very interesting!

Oh, do you think the Une should have long hair or the same short hair as Ace? :3

I have never even thought of gender-swapping a character before but, well, Une is sort of kind of...canon? The name is canon, therefore there must exist an alternate verse in which Roger and Rouge had a girl! Therefore...canon? Lol. I guess I don't so much consider her to be Ace gender-swapped as, like...his twin sister or something ^^;

I picture her with shoulder-length hair. Not sure why. Compromise between Ace's short hair and Rouge's long hair? I have no idea - my brain works in strange and mysterious ways. ^^

But! She definitely coloured the back-strap of her bikini so it would match the tattoo. Because she is a dork. XP
