Isn't the "voice of all things" like mantra, though? And with mantra, a person's voice goes out when they die...and Koby said he heard ONE voice go out. Not TWO. And it was only after Whitebeard died that he said that...

Although, I think there may be a problem with the translation... I haven't read the scanlation, but in the original, Coby says:

"The voices in my head... are disappearing... one by one..."

So he's definitely talking about people on the battlefield in general, not a particular person.
