More crack than you can shake a stick at



Um. I'm not entirely certain I can explain this in a coherent fashion, so please bear with me.

The following crack is brought to you by a friend of mine who was teasing me for clinging to hope of Ace being not-dead at some point in the near future.

friend: Shanks to the rescue? And miracles!
me: which miracles?
friend: impossible birth, impossible back-to-life-to-save-everybody!
me: AHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
*dies laughing*
friend: right?
the essential jesus christ!
me: wait.
Does that make Gol D Roger God?

friend: lol
why not?

So then I took this hilarious crack over to [livejournal.com profile] naye and it just got worse better XD


naye: ACE IS JESUS
me: *dies laughing*

So after we stopped Naye's brain from fizzing:

RETURNED FROM THE DEAD AFTER THREE DAYS CHAPTERS

naye: ...if there is a three-day interval or something I will...
I DON'T EVEN KNOW
...I will laugh and laugh and FORGIVE EVERYTHING
me: I will laugh and laugh and laugh and be gleeful

everything forgiven AHAHAHHAHHAHAHAA
...the impossible birth
naye: and
yes
...well, he's not the son of god but STILL
SON OF THE PIRATE KING
the whole world reacts
and he's killed for our sins being roger's son
me: he has a cross on his back

And then it got even crackier:

me: *laughs and laughs and laughs*
if... after three chapters
naye: <333333333333333333333
...no
he wouldn't
...but three days?
HE WOULD
...though Ace might be a little smelly by that point
me: ... ew
naye: we'd better ask aokiji to put him on ice
just in case!
me: three hours?
naye: three hours works, too!
me: and then Luffy can be unbroken dammit
naye: YES
me: three something
naye: CROSS ON HIS BACK

... and then we decided the crack should be shared. So. Here it is.


I plead exhaustion if none of this makes any sense. :P Hopefully at the very least you get a good laugh out of this. XP

Didn't Jesus go into the realm of death and free Adam (but apparently not Eve, sheesh) and possibly other worthy people whod eserved to go to Heaven, according to some legend I'm fuzzy about?

That sounds more like Luffy's trip to Impel Down than Ace... Maybe they split up the Jesus duties between them! :D

But see, the thing is, this being Oda, and all his weird references and allusions, I wouldn't put it past him! ODA looooves grabbing from so many different myths and fairy tales...And well, I mean, Ace *did* have the miracle birth. And his father was the "creator" of a new age. And he did sacrifice his life for others. And, he was going to be publicly executed and um...yeah, that actually works scarily well...
