So, okay, you had your fun. Ace died happily, just like he promised he wouldn't, Whitebeard's going to die for his children (except for the ones who are already dead) right in front of that gloating bastard traitor Teach, just like he promised he would, and Luffy has failed in every conceivable way, just like he has always refused to do.

So everybody loses, except for Teach. And Sengoku. And I'm not exactly sure which of the two is more completely horrible.


So. Your homework, while you take this much-earned break that is going to break us with suspense, is simply: to MAKE IT ALL BETTER!

... And despite this long, rage-filled rant, I... actually expect you - trust you - to do so. Eventually. Therefore Ace is not truly, permanently dead until this are better and he is not, in fact, being narcoleptic and dorky and alive I will hold off on despair until... this are better. Teach... Teach makes me angry and frustrated and hurt for the characters in ways Sengoku just... does not. Not even Akainu, and I have wanted him dead since the Ohara flashback.

So. Yeah. He is worse.

I am praying for my sanity that Blackbeard did not open the gate. Reason likes to point out that, well, he could not conceivably have had enough time to get down to level 6, free those prisoners, and get to Marinford in time. Even if he hadn't freed those prisoners he should not have had enough time.
