Oh it hurt to watch him this chapter! He got hit by Akainu last chapter and now... how many times was he stabbed? Shot?!

But he's not going down. And he won't die! Because he has to secure his sons' future. T_T

Things that makes me GLEE LIKE A GLEEFUL THING

Hancock!!! I don't know if people are still divided between "her crush on Luffy is ridiculous and offensive" or "her crush on Luffy is ridiculous and hilarious" but there is no denying she is a fucking badass! And incredibly gutsy. Let us stand in the line of laser-fire shall we? And then she takes it out. Because she is badass.

And stronger than Luffy? Luffy needed all his namaka to take out a Kuma-bot. Hancock kicks it in the head. &hearts And it looked to me like she broke it. For people who think she will become a nakama, I would say that's a bad sign - the Strawhats can't be stronger than their captain. (Also she is already a captain, and Empress of an island.)

There are no words to describe my highly biased and unrepentant love for her.

Ah, HAKI, how I've fantasized about Luffy pwning everyone with it. :D Sadly most everyone is too distinct to pass out dang it (lol Jango XD where's Fullbody though?) but he did shock the hell out of everybody and knocked out the two evil marines trying to behead Ace so all is Good!

I am thankful for Hancock being there. :) I don't have to worry about her dying cause she is epically badass and selfish to prioritize her own safety unless Luffy is concerned... and even then is wily enough not to be self-sacrificial. :D

I don't think she'll be recruited. She's got her own thing going on and anyway a king needs allies too :)

Random thought, if Sengoku's crapping himself over Luffy having king's haki, how's he gonna take Hancock -another king's haki user- being firmly on Luffy's side? (she's all but verbally announced it to the world)

MAN OH MAN. Everytime I think that my love for the WB Pirates has reached it's absolute peak, the next chapter comes out and I just love them even more. They're just so fiercely loyal and clearly a huge FAMILY and hghugeheheeee. Whitebeard shrugging off all those stab wounds made me so happy and sad at the same time and oh man I'm super worried about Marco and Jozu. I also thought he lost an arm but hopefully he'll be okay?!?!? It's One Piece, right?? They've gotta be okay!

I freaking love Hancock man, more and more every time she shows up. I seriously don't understand the hatedom, especially since she's proven without a doubt that she completely deserves her badass rep and geuhgheugggg CAN YOU BLAME HER FOR FALLING HEAD OVER HEELS FOR LUFFY?!??! Sengoku your pain gives me deep unabated joy. It's so hard to sympathize at all with the Marines when they're such huge assholes. :/ Why don't you go fight some pirates that are actually causing mayhem and hurting people instead of picking on WB, huh????

The end of this chapter just made up for all of the heartbreak that this entire arc has put us through so far. Luffy <3!!!!!

Not really... He said in one of the inside cover blurbs that people (not specifically One Piece world) would live to be 140 though everything they do in life shortens that span - and since he works so much he'll only become 120 or so. It was random insanity, like everything he writes on the inside covers. Some fan picked it up and applied it to Kureha in an SBS, but that doesn't really make it canon. ^^;

I do worry about Luffy.
