Luffy!win 5 (even if it's technically Luffy!win 6)

The Next Level

He’s fighting through a bunch of weird guys and making sure he doesn’t get caught in Smokey’s smoke when he catches, out of the corner of his eye, a blur of red moving towards his brother.

“Shit. Akainu goin’ for Ace! Somebody stop him!”

Akainu. One of the Admirals then, like Aokiji…and the Light-Guy.

“ZORO! This is bad! Zoro’s gonna die!”

“I sliced and sliced at him but my blows simply went right through his body. Yet Rayleigh just stopped him…how?”

The Admiral moves through the fighting quickly, and everything he touches in his red-earth-molasses form bursts into flame.

“It’s only natural for arrows to have such strength when imbued with Haki.”

Luffy can see the blue Bird-Guy trying to get around the Light-Admiral; Whitebeard is holding off some weird Marine machine-thing.

“Why the heck does it hurt!? I’m made of rubber!”

“But you cannot use Haki, can you?”

And Ace, Ace looking quiet and empty and not even fighting anymore.

“I TOLD YOU TO STOP!”

“I have never seen anyone other than our sister who can use that power…!!”

“Get out of my way!”

Luffy steps in front of his brother just before the red Admiral reaches him, and strikes out with both arms.

“LUFFY!”

His fists are warm, hot almost, but he isn’t burned.

Luffy grins.

“Hey Lava-Guy, leave my brother alone.”

Oh, it will be so massively awesome when this happens! Luffy and the way he figures things out and USES them... Yeah, we'll be seeing controlled Haki soon. Preferably IN SENGOKU'S FACE! rawr

Now if only that had happened with Magellan ^^; well Luffy evolves when he's got to protect someone (not himself sadly)and what better time then then when his brother's in danger?

As he is right now... he lost so badly to Magellan! And Kuma! And Sentoumaru. :(

So he's going to have to figure something out fast.

I...don't think haki!yelling will work on most of the people at Marinford - there were a handful of Kuja women who were able to withstand Luffy's haki, and of course the Boa sisters were (mostly) unaffected (other than being, you konw, freaked out). If haki could be used to knock out lots of people at Marinford, I'm sure Whitebeard would have already done so.

FINALLY! I mean, I've been waiting since Rayleigh took out everyone in the Human Body Shop for Luffy to pick up haki! I suspect that (no offense to your wonderful Luffy/win stories) the actual event will be so much more badass! I can't wait! XD

Yes! Poor Ace... And Luffy being clever and figuring things out, great! And Vegapunk´s machine thing that I´m waiting for.
Just: I don´t really remember, but does Luffy actually get a name right for once and calls Aokiji by his name instead of Ice-Guy (oder snowman or something)? Somehow more surprising than him using haki, because the latter will happen... :D
I hope you don´t mind me friending you, but I don´t want to miss any snippets you post.

Luffy being clever is awesome and epic and omg his fight against Bleuno when he figures out Soru &hearts&hearts

I watched the Shabaondy arc a week or so ago and Luffy mentions Aokiji when Hacchi tells him about Admirals showing up if you strike a Tenryuubito, but that could have been a mistake on the anime's part, I don't know :P (and yeah, I was surprised too! lol, Luffy/name!fail &hearts)

Ah the tricky thing called: Haki. I wish Oda-sensei's more clear on how it is and what exactly it is. Luffy's able to control it subconsciously, but it's not controlled.
