I can't even feel that pride, I wanted to feel, about Whitebeard's death because, as sad as it would be, he was supposed to go feeling so damned proud and happy about saving Ace.

Last chapter I flipped because I was afraid that Whitebeard's death was going to be Blackbeard's victory rather than a heroic last stand. But Whitebeard pwned Teach and died standing up after delivering a Shut Up Hannibal and I still don't feel any better.
