And! Jozu is Admiral-level (Aokiji, after stabbing Luffy, you totally deserved that. Have fun bleeding, you bastard.) Jozu, you were awesome when you stopped Mihawk's slash without blinking, you were awesome when you smashed Crocodile. And now you have made an Admiral bleed. I love you. Why are you only the third division commander? Seriously - and what does this mean about Ace's relative strength?

Luffy, Luffy you have pushed yourself too hard. ;_; He is in such bad shape - even in the first panel he appears in.
And it only gets worse.
(Can Ace see this? Because, watching Luffy get curb-stomped by Momonga and the Zoan-guy and then Kizaru is breaking my heart and I know he's going to pull through mostly okay.)
What's his tally now? Hit and choked by Smoker, slashed by Mihawk, kicked by Kizaru, blown up by whatever was guarding the tiny entrance in the wall, stabbed by Aokiji, slashed by Momonga (twice), shigan'ed by... the random Zoan (who is probably not random but I do not remember who he is), light-stabbed by Kizaru, blown up by Kizaru, and finally kicked by Kizaru.
And this isn't counting just the general wounds he would have picked up in the melee - including the one above his right eye from way back in chapter 558. (and ignoring the fact that, really, Luffy should be in bed recovering from the poisoning he should have died from. which is ignoring the fact that, actually he should still be in that tiny little cave healing from the poison that should have killed him)
Tellingly, Luffy isn't using Gear Second all the time, not unless someone manages to force him into a confrontation - he must be feeling the toll on his body.
After he gets hit by Kizaru though - ow, it's the Magellan fight all over again. "Ac...e..."
He just wants to get to his brother. He doesn't care about the politics of the situation, he doesn't care about the balance of power on the world stage, or the global consequences of this battle, he doesn't care who his allies are or who his enemies are. He just wants his brother to live.
I cheered a bit when Whitebeard caught Luffy &hearts (the parts of me that weren't going "oooowwwwwww ;_;")
... and then he holds him upside-down, lol.
(ow Luffy, barely conscious and still calling for his brother)
And Kizaru, that asdfasdlks rawr! Calling Luffy garbage and saying Whitebeard never should have let him lead the charge! >____<
And then there is GIANT IVA HEAD.

And Luffy's allies are worried about him and they're coming for him and
And Luffy wakes up and picks a fight with Whitebeard. lol
And Whitebeard casually tosses him to one of his men and tells them to look after him. I love this man. Oh Whitebeard, your way of caring for people. It is sweet and borderline violent.
And Luffy pitches a fit. Because Ace is the only brother he has! &hearts&hearts&hearts ;_; &hearts&hearts
But he's done. He can't even stand any more - can barely even talk - and this is with Ivankov's freaky adrenaline-thing that's going to hurt him even more when it wears off! o_o
(Jinbei. &hearts Jinbei worrying about Luffy and begging the doctor to fix him - how many hours have these two known each other?)
Who was it who said that Luffy was going to spend the next few months in a coma? At the rate he's going, that is looking alarmingly likely possible.
And I am having dark dark thoughts of Luffy waking up and demanding that Iva-chan give him another adrenaline boost.
And while Jozu is Admiral-level, Marco is maybe not Garp-level...
Oh boy, Jiichan has joined the fight. Anyone hoping to reach Ace is going to have to get past his grandpa first. bad Jiichan!
Now what? Luffy has the key to Ace's chains, he's going to have to get to that platform eventually. I can't see him going "Yeah, I broke into and out of Impel Down to save him, I suffered incredible pain for almost a day, I lost ten years of my life, I left a friend behind, I made it all the way to Marinford, I fought through hundreds of people to reach the plaza, I said I would save my only brother if it killed me, but you know what, here, take this key, I'm gonna trust you with Ace's life now. I'll just... sit here and let somebody else's crew take care of me."
... no, Luffy is going to make it to that platform if it kills him right after he saves his brother (not before, because Luffy's going to save Ace no matter what) but Luffy can't move.
This is problematic.
And assuming Garp isn't distracted, what will he do when Luffy gets there? (What will Luffy do? Jiichan is scary)
