She doesn't even ship! (usually) But then she mentioned that she was easy to sell on Ace/Marco. Which I took to mean that someone should write Ace/Marco for her. By which I mean that I should be that someone. Because I am insane.

Certainties
Marco knows that the first kiss was a moment of uninhibited spontaneity.
He knows that it took Ace a week to talk himself into the second one.
Marco knows that if Ace ever falls asleep in the middle of sex it is not his fault.
He also knows that he will try very hard not to throw his lover’s sleeping ass overboard.
Marco knows that Ace is very conscientious of not making people feel awkward about their relationship.
He has no idea how to suggest to Ace that politely apologising to the first division after enthusiastically kissing Marco in front of them is perhaps not the most tactful way to go about it.
He wishes he knew what was behind Ace’s desperation the day he grabbed Marco and kissed him until they both ran out of air.
Or what happened between then and two hours later when Ace came back glowing, grinning so widely his face had to hurt; laughing too hard to even kiss properly
Marco doesn’t know how Ace will introduce him to his little brother when Monkey D. Luffy finally makes it to the New World: as his nakama? Or his lover?
Marco knows that they’re going to get Ace back a little broken; knows that whatever Impel Down doesn’t manage, guilt will.
He’s confident they can put him back together.

Five Minutes Are Up
“Time’s up,” Marco announces as he walks into the room, aiming a lazy kick at the blanket-covered lump on the bed, “rise and shine.”
The lump makes incoherent annoyed sounds. Smiling, cheerful Ace is a bear in the morning. A grumpy one.
“Serves you right for staying up all night with the fifth division. Even if it was Vista’s birthday - they can nurse their hangovers all day, you have places to be. Now get up before I pitch you overboard.”
A hand pokes out of the covers and flaps at him to go away. He reaches for the exposed limb, planning to drag Ace out forcefully and instead finds himself with a face full of pillow when Ace grabs him arm and trips him into bed.
And then a warm, half-asleep Ace snuggles up to him.
... The day can wait.

The bikini straps - carefully and lovingly dyed to match the tattoo - barely obscure their captain's mark, but the second they are in private Une whips her top off.
Marco wonders if it really bothers her that much, that small strip of clothing across her back. Then she grins.

When I saw this post, and then after I read it, I squeed all over the place. There adroable and cute and I loved them!
I like fics that show them in this kind of light, but I like the brotherhood fics with these two as well. ((seriously you can actually make me happy with any whitebeard/supernova/straw hat pirate fic)) maybe I'm to easily amused.
