That scene in the anime! AHAHAHAHA - I'd already written most of this so I went, ah damn, someone beat me to it XP But I loved that scene, and Ace smiled. &hearts And... yeah, not manga canon XP so this could totally happen! lol
Um... I sort of kind of have an idea for how it could end. But I'm trying to make each part sort of self contained so that if I ever can't continue there won't be a bunch of people going "butbutbut - hanging plot-thread!"
The fact that this part a) adds very little to the development of the story and b) doesn't really conclude anything, is why it's an interlude and not a "part" proper. :P
